Herbal Healing Salve:

The plantain helps soothe poison ivy, poison oak, and sumac rashes. It has drawing properties and pulls splinters from the skin. It prevents infection and speeds up healing of cuts. Sooths irritated skin, pulls heat from a burn.

Calendula is beneficial for dry skin, cracks, eczema, scrapes, minor burns & sunburns, rashes, chapped lips, and pesky bug bites. It helps reduce inflammation , cleanses, and promotes eound healing.

Ingredients: Calendula, Comfrey, Plantain, avacado oil, bees wax.

 

Calendula is an antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory, and for wound treatment. It hydrates and nourishes the skin and reduces scarring.

 

Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Comfrey ointments have been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis.

 

Plantain has long been considered a useful remedy for wounds , inflamed skin or dermatitis, and insect bites. Bruised or crushed leaves have been applied topically to treat insect bites and stings, eczema , and small wounds or cuts.

 

Vitamin E oil: Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It's an antioxidant, making it effective at combating the effects of free radicals produced by the metabolism of food and toxins in the environment. Vitamin E may be beneficial at reducing UV damage to skin.

 

Rose geranium essential oil is also used to alleviate pain and stimulate healing from burns and wounds. It's also an antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiseptic.

 

Apply directly to the affected area. Repeat as necessary until rash is gone.
